You are #1 at the moment, so take some time out for yourself. My favourite soul nourishing experience? Pregnant or not pregnant, I say- Massage. Not many pregnant mums-to-be can argue with me there. Take the time to relax but be careful……as it depends on your medical condition. Just check with your doctor to make sure that massage is safe for you and your baby. Stay away from aromatherapy oils if you are having a massage as some are known to cause problems with pregnancy and breastfeeding too. Don’t be afraid to take your long pregnancy pillow with you. It really helps to position you comfortably on the massage table. When you are carrying an extra bump in the front, it really can pay to give your back some love. Visit your hair stylist or beautician and take some time for a Pedicure. This is something that may not be part of your usual beauty regime but your tired feet and calves will thank you for it! I remember all too well how hard it was to give myself a pedicure or to simply put some colour on my toes. So let someone else do it. You’ll really enjoy it. Try some Yoga. Whilst the amount you can do, will be affected by your pregnant condition, yoga is a fantastic way to release any stress and anxiety you may be feeling. Let your hard working body discover an inner peace and harmony once more while you practice your relaxation and breathing techniques ready for your baby’s birth.
